Works by Bach, Fauré and Bridge

Clapham Chamber Concerts welcomes the Métier Ensemble for a performance to include Bach’s Flute Sonata in E minor, Gabriel Fauré’s Élégie, and Miniatures by Frank Bridge alongside works by Josef Suk, Edwin York Bowen and Nikolai Kapustin. Cellist Sophie Rivlin, a frequent performer at CCC, is joined by pianist Elspeth Wyllie and flautist Claire Overbury for this unusual and eclectic programme that mustn’t be missed. Explaining the Ensemble’s approach to their performances, Sophie says: “We love to bring varied programmes to our audiences, mixing up our concerts with duos, solos and trios as well as playing exciting new repertoire alongside old favourites” Tickets available at the door: £12.00, £10.00 concessions and Friends of CCC, £5.00 children under 12. |
