Clapham Chamber Concerts has a very special festive treat in store for concert-goers this December. Those familiar with the light music concerts we have put on in previous years, will already know about the unique and magical sound world of lush strings, clarinet and celeste. Artistic directors, David Wallace and Jonathan Parkin, join forces for this concert, with David's own arrangements of festive and seasonal favourites, such as White Christmas, Santa Baby, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and excerpts from The Nutcracker.
Jonathan will take his audience back to the 1930s with his retro clarinet light music and, for the first time in these CCC light music concerts, Jonathan will share the stage with a jazz singer, Eliana Veinberga, for some of the Christmas favourites, all accompanied by the musicians of Ensemble SW4. There will be a single performance, with an interval, starting at 7.00pm at St Paul's Church, Rectory Grove, Clapham.
