For Clapham Chamber Concerts’ December offering, the Castell Quartet return following a successful CCC debut in May 2025. Led by Artistic Director Amanda Lake, the group offer a seasonal opening of Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, a short work culminating in a traditional Pastorale, depicting the shepherds of Bethlehem.
The programme also includes Mendelssohn’s Four Pieces for String Quartet, Op. 81, whilst Beethoven’s String Quartet, Op 74 “The Harp”, brings the programme to a powerful, life-affirming close. Join us for a an evening of beautiful music making amongst friends at St Paul’s Clapham. The performance, which includes an interval, starts at 7.00pm at St Paul's Church, Rectory Grove, Clapham.
