Aglica Trio explore French Impressionism
Music for flute, viola and harp by Debussy, Ravel and Ibert
Clapham Chamber Concerts’ first event of 2025 takes place on 31st January, with a recital given by the Aglica Trio. Flautist Carys Gittins, violist Agnieszka Żyniewicz and harpist Lise Vandersmissen will explore the world of French Impressionism in Debussy’s Sonata for flute, viola and harp, Ravel’s Sonatine en Trio and Ibert’s Deux Interludes.
The programme will also feature the UK première of John Casken’s Toiles de Staël and works by Welsh composers Hilary Tann and William Mathias.
