SUMMER FESTIVAL: Friday 18 June 2021 (6.00pm and 8.00pm)
Mozart Clarinet Quintet in A major
and Beethoven String Quartet Op.18 No.4
Clapham Chamber Concerts opens its two day festival with an evening of masterpieces from the classical period, performed by ensemble-in-residence Ensemble SW4.
Mozart’s sublime Clarinet Quintet, one of the first chamber works written for the instrument in 1789 and Mozart’s only completed clarinet quintet, is married with Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 18 No. 4, a characteristically dramatic outpouring from the composer written between 1798 and 1800. Please note: There will be two performances in the same evening at 6.00pm & 8.00 pm. The concerts will adhere to the relevant Covid safety guidelines, including a limited number of socially distanced audience members. No refreshments can be served. Tickets are available in advance only and can be purchased online through our Eventbrite page using the button below. £15.00, £12.00 concessions, £10.00 Friends of CCC, £5.00 children under 12. |
