Festive Brass
Quartet Menine play arrangements for brass across the genres
We are delighted to welcome back the renowned prize-winning brass ensemble, Quartet Menine, for our next concert. Winners of the 2023 Royal Philharmonic Society’s ‘Philip Jones Brass Prize’, the group will present an eclectic mix of genres, in a new programme brimming with musical personality and virtuosic brass playing.
Arrangements from the classical canon including Schumann's Traumerei, and the Andante from Mendelssohn's Reformation Symphony, will be performed alongside the vocal serenity of Imogen Heap, and a whirlwind of Bulgarian folk music by Farmers Market. The concert will also feature two unique musical ‘Odes’ written especially for the ensemble and will finish with some festive favourites! The perfect way to spend a December evening. Tickets can be booked in advance from our Eventbrite page using the button below. There will be a single performance, with an interval, starting at 7.00pm at St Paul's Church, Rectory Grove, Clapham. Tickets: £15.00, £12.00 concessions, £10.00 Friends of CCC, £5.00 children under 12. |
