String Trios and Flute Quartets
Beethoven's String Trio in D major and music for flute and strings
Known for outstanding music making in an informal environment, Clapham Chamber Concerts are delighted to welcome Sarah Bennington (flute), Amanda Lake (violin), Lydia Abell (viola) and Alicja Kozak (‘cello) for their next performance on 26th April.
The concert will feature Beethoven’s intimate String Trio in D major alongside flute quartets by Mozart and Beethoven’s student Ferdinand Ries. The programme will also include contemporary elements in the form of Copland’s Two Threnodies for Flute and String Trio and an offering from CCC composer-in-residence David Wallace – his Three Divertimenti for String Trio. Tickets can be booked in advance from our Eventbrite page using the button below. There will be a single performance, with an interval, starting at 7.00pm at St Paul's Church, Rectory Grove, Clapham.
