To Make a Long Story Short
500 years of British music presented by Flutes & Frets
Clapham Chamber Concerts are delighted to host London-based duo Flutes & Frets. Winners of numerous international competitions including the 2023 International H.I.F Biber Competition, these outstanding musicians present intimate, magnetic performances that exploit the fragility and versatility of their ensemble. Their concerts feature a variety of instruments that enable them to express the colours, gesture and emotions of repertoire from the medieval era through to contemporary.
Featuring composers from William Byrd to Ralph Vaughan Williams, the duo will present a programe entitled To Make a Long Story Short, journeying chronologically through 500 years of British music. Tickets can be booked in advance from our Eventbrite page using the button below. There will be a single performance, with an interval, starting at 7.00pm at St Paul's Church, Rectory Grove, Clapham.
