Love Songs for Brass
Vocal works arranged for brass septet
Clapham Chamber Concerts are especially excited to introduce ARC Brass, a young and newly formed brass septet in their public debut! The concert is free and will consist of their own arrangements of several pieces better known as songs or choral works. The programme will include arrangements of Three Songs Op. 3 by Roger Quilter; Jesu, Meine Freude BWV227 by J.S. Bach; and, Abendlied by J. Rheinberger among others. It’s sure to be an exhilarating and entertaining afternoon that shouldn’t be missed. Please note the performance will take place outside in the grounds at the back of St Paul’s Church at 2.00pm. Doors open at 1.30pm. Audience numbers will be restricted in line with Covid safety guidelines, so please allow comfortable time to arrive and settle before the performance begins. No seating will be provided but feel free to bring your own. No booking is required. Although the concert is free, donations would be greatly appreciated to cover the costs of this very special event. |
