SUMMER FESTIVAL: Saturday 19 June 2021 (7.30pm)
Contrasts
Three chamber pieces for violin, clarinet and piano
Clapham Chamber Concerts presents a programme of chamber music for violin, clarinet and piano performed by artistic directors Amanda Lake and Jonathan Parkin alongside our co-founder Jessie Maryon Davies. Opening with Dvořák’s charming Sonatina, the performance will also feature Bartók’s rustic and characterful Contrasts as well as the live première of composer-in-residence David Wallace’s Isolations. Written in collaboration with the performers during the lockdown period, this work is a response to the “coronacoaster” of emotions that many experienced during this time. Please note: There will be one performance at 7.30 pm. In line with Covid safety guidelines, the concert will be limited to 60 socially distanced audience members. There will be no interval and we will be unable to offer refreshments. Tickets are available in advance only and can be purchased online through our Eventbrite page using the button below. £15.00, £12.00 concessions, £10.00 Friends of CCC, £5.00 children under 12. |
