Join Clapham Chamber Concerts for a festive programme to kick off the Christmas season! This concert is presented by CCC clarinettist and artistic director, Jonathan Parkin, who invites his friends and fellow clarinettists to perform arrangements of much- loved classical works and light music for four clarinets.
The charismatic Denman Street Quartet was founded in 2017 and consists of some of London’s most sought after clarinettists. The programme will feature an arrangement of Mendelssohn’s first string quartet and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, which contains the most well known music from the popular Nutcracker Ballet, itself a Christmas classic. If that doesn’t get you in the Christmas mood, the concert will end with a selection of light music and Christmas classics.
