Festive favourites from the Ferio Saxophone Quartet

The award winning Ferio Saxophone Quartet presents an evening of light classics. The programme brings together original works for saxophone quartet with arrangements of other pieces, including the beautiful aria ‘A furtive tear’ from Donizetti’s opera ‘L’elisir d’amore’ and music from Bernstein and Bizet. Evergreen Christmas fare includes selections from the ‘Nutcracker’ by Tchaikovsky and a fun arrangement of ‘Christmas Jazz Suite’ by Bill Holcombe to conclude a varied and entertaining evening of music. The perfect antidote to the cold winter nights.
Please note: There will be two performances in the same evening at 6.00 & 8.00 pm. The concerts will adhere to the relevant Covid safety guidelines, including a limited number of socially distanced audience members. There will be no interval.
