Clapham Chamber Concerts are very excited to welcome back Lourdes Fernández Flamenco Company who will present Raíces for the final concert of our season.
Flamenco charms so many audiences but it is a demanding and technical art with a complex rhythmic and visual language. Raíces draws on and departs from traditional flamenco in search of an eclectic style of music inspired by folk, Andalusian copla, jazz and other styles. Carefully studied and rehearsed acts combine with original moments of improvisation that summon the magic of Raíces, a unique and personal experience for performers and audience alike.. Tickets will be available at the door or can be booked in advance from our Eventbrite page using the button below. Please note, there will be a single performance, with interval, starting at 7.00pm at St Paul’s Church, Rectory Grove, Clapham SW4.
