2019-20 Concerts

Friday 13 March 2020
Spring Sonata

Beethoven, Brahms, Biber and Lili Boulanger

Picture

Join the Lake/Maryon Davies Duo - founders of Clapham Chamber Concerts - on 13th March for this special concert of music for violin and piano including Brahms' heartwarming Violin Sonata in G major and works by Biber and Lili Boulanger, as well as ushering in the spring with Beethoven’s much loved "Spring" Sonata. This performance forms part of CCC's Beethoven 250th anniversary season, celebrating a composer whose unique voice has stood the test of time for over two centuries.

"Amanda and I grew up locally and we began playing together as a duo over a decade ago. I am so proud of what we started at Clapham Chamber concerts and so inspired by the organisers and the wonderful and varied programmes they continue to support. It means a great deal to return to St Paul’s - home to my first ever public recital when I was just 7 - and play this beautiful music with a dear friend in such a treasured community." Jessie Maryon Davies.

Tickets available at the door:
£15.00, £12.00 concessions, £10.00 Friends of CCC, £5.00 children under 12.
